We host events every 2-3 weeks. Membership dues will cover the cost of the events. Also, you won't need to bring anything to most events. Through volunteers and sponsors everything will be covered. For example, when we have an archery class the bows and arrows will be provided by one of our sponsors. On fishing events, rods and reels will be provided. When you come for a turkey shoot, shotguns & ammo will be provided for you.

These events are scheduled to be in Morgan, Newton, Greene, Walton & Gwinnett Counties - depending on what the event is. Once a member, you will updated with upcoming events through our website, email & newsletter so you'll always know what's coming up.

1. Being family oriented, Sporting Families allows 100% participation for EVERY member of your family.
2. This is something you can be involved in 365 days a year, instead of a couple of weeks in the summer.
3. You can pick & choose which events to attend. Some of our scheduled events include archery, fishing, camping trips, shooting, fly tying & fishing seminars and trips, dog training, building wood-duck and birdhouses, and seminars on agricultural topics such as food plots, gardens, native trees & bushes and even flower gardens. There will be fishing tournaments, turkey shoots, flag football games & cookouts.

Along with hunting, fishing & camping our group will also give you a chance to learn about agriculture, dog training, and habitat for wildlife. We really believe that these things can help build a healthier family and society. It will teach kids responsibility, trust and respect. It will strengthen relationships between husband and wife, as well as parent and child This is also a great opportunity for single parents - Sporting Families can help you by having scheduled events and others to assist you in things you can't teach yourself.
